when my cell phone is shut off and someone calls my phone and leaves a voicemail is there anyway to know or find out when that person had tried calling and left that voicemail
shut off ? you mean disconnected or power off .
if power off then when you listen VM it will say time and day
if disconnected then done deal you cant access voice mail and they cant leave a VM either on not active number
no fone was shut off and charging and when i accessed my voicemail it never does give me the time and day the voicemail is left
are you using basic voice mail or visual voice mail ?
Otsh106 Let’s figure out why you are not able to hear date/time message was left. What happens when you dial *86 to listen to messages? If you look at the phone call log do you see time/date? If you press "5" while listening to the voicemail, it will give you the "envelope information", then continue with the message.
You can also set your options to play the envelope info before each call, but not everyone wants to hear it every time. Pressing 5 during the message gives it to you as needed.
