I can't answer incoming calls here in Mexico. They all go to voice mail. How to fix?
TerryBob16, I would be lost if I could not answer my phone while traveling. Is the phone ringing or just going straight to Voice Mail? What kind of phone do you have? Have you opted for an International Plan? AlbertoR_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response. I have the travel plan. The phone rings and when I try to answer I get nothing. If the caller leaves a message I will get it. It seems to be happening only in certain locations, because I have been able to answer calls a few times today. I will only be here for another 2 days so I’m not going to be concerned about it.

We want to make sure you can answer your phone calls while you're traveling, TerryBob16. Please in mind that this is a public post. I would recommend on editing the post to remove any personal information. When you answer the phone, is it dead air or does the call end once you answer the phone? Are you able to call out without any issues? Please keep us posted.

I am no longer in Mexico. To answer your question- it was dead air when I answered.
I did a test with my wife calling. She called my phone. When I heard it ring, I answered and got dead air. On her phone, she heard it continue to ring until it went to voice mail. The voice message she left went to my phone.
I was able to answer and make calls in some places around our apartment and the town we were in, but not consistently. It seemed like it was a cell tower coverage issue, except that her phone is a Verizon phone and she didn’t have the same problem.
