Not Sure If Virus

So i did a few system updates earlier this week for the Samsung Note 4. Since the update i have recieved a few random popup messages stating...

"Sorry, we're having trouble activating your phone. Please call (877)807-4646 from another phone to activate your 4G LTE service and then try again by restarting your phone."

I have had this phone since they first day it was released back in October 2014. So i do not understand this activation error message. Anyone else seen this before? Any help would be great. The note 4 has really become a lemon. I am hoping this is just a verizon software issue and not another nail in this phones coffin.

Thanks for the details, you mentioned this occuring all after a Software update, correct?

Please check for updates on the device in addition to powering the phone off and back on. If that does not work, repeat the power cycle, but remove the SIM card while the phone is off.

that's most definitely an attempt at some sort of nefarious intent. do not call the number from your cell phone, I wouldn't call it period, but if you must satisfy your curiosity, call from a land line, or your bosses cell phone
