Buyout contact

Just moved to vzw last week because of the buyout contact. Was told I will receive envelope and email giving me instructions on how to send in my sprint device. Haven't received any information. Now I feel that I will have to pay sprint the device and the canceling fee. Worse part is that vzw service sucks. Can't even receive calls. I know someone called because a voice mail message pops out. My friend has t-mobile and she receives all calls when we are in same building. Even her web pages load better than mine.

As far as the service issues, we would like to address these as well. Are you having trouble making calls or sending texts as well? If so, what happens when this happens, any error codes? I never received a trade in confirmation. I did it over the phone spoke to

some Walter person and was told I should receive all this on my email and

never did. I was able to contact that person through this number [number removed as required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] that weekend but I have tried calling and leaving voice mails

and Walter wasn't returned my call.

Ok I think I really don't need this stress so I'll just move back to sprint. Since vzw does give you 14 days I'll just return devices and pay the restocking fee. So sad how customer service switches everything. Was told I would get buyout confirmation but never did. But right away they do send the contract info. So unhappy.

This is certainly not the experience that we want you to have, and we don't want to lose you. How far into the trade did you get? Did you actually get to send the devices in? Or have you been waiting to get the confirmation and padded envelope to send them in? Were you able to utilize that link that my peer sent in a previous message, to help speed up the trade in?
