1.Re. my new LG 8.3 Tablet from Verizon,

1. Some incoming messages only show the phone number from who its  from but don t show name of who it s from but the name is on the cell phone app. on the same message and if I look at same messages on the PC, it shows the name. Note that this is some of the messages, some do show the name, who it s from. 2.If compose a message on the LG Tablet selecting a name from the contacts the message goes out as an email?

And as for composing a message, are you doing this in Verizon Messages? If yes, it will go out as a text, not an email. Please share some additional details so we can get a clearer understanding of what is going on.
