Camera fail on my Samsung G920V

This phone is only 2 weeks old and it keeps telling me the camera has failed. I have tried to google search solutions, even reset the phone, but. Anthony seem to fix the problem. Does anyone have ideas? Super frustrated since I bought the phone solely to use the camera! Ugh

This sometimes happens if certain applications were using the camera but didn't free the camera from use afterwards. This coincides with battery drain. I've found that WhatsApp in particular on my phone causes this issue, at least back when I still had Android 5.0.1 installed.

Do you find that this problem is resolved by closing out all applications from the Multitasking menu? If yes, I'd say that's the culprit. If no, does rebooting the phone help (I get that you reset, but did it work in factory states too).

If the camera is truly not working, exchange it at the store for a brand new device, or RMA it with Samsung.

We never like to hear you are having issues with your new phone. Let's take a closer look here. I have to agree with smith6612sometimes other apps can be interfering with the use of your camera. You mentioned you had done a reset, was it a factory reset? Wiped the whole phone: http://vz.to/1MjqX8a When you reset the phone did it automatically re-download everything on your phone or did you get the chance to test out the camera before everythign was readded?
