Phone Speaker no longer working

I have a Droid Turbo and the speaker is no longer working so if I call someone or receive a call I can answer it but I can't hear anything and the volume is turned up all the way, and media sound isn't working either . I live very far away from a Verizon store what can I do?

A phone without sound is not very useful. Let's work on getting the speaker back in action. How long have you had this issue? Can others hear you? Does the sound work on speakerphone?
