LG G4 Charger not working

I bought my LG G4 in June for a 2 year contract. The charger has died already and I was told at the store I bought it from that it is not under any kind of warranty. So the phone is covered but the charger that makes it work is not? I think that is pretty horrible customer service if you ask me. Is there anything that can be done about this?

It certainly sounds like something is not quite right, shannonandshae. If the charger is under 12 months old it can be replaced under the manufacturers warranty(no physical or liquid damage). You can actually stop by a corporate location to have the charger replaced. You could also reach out to Customer Service at 800-922-0204 to have a replacement ordered.

Hello shannonandshae! Let's clear up a few things for you. Where did you purchase the charger from? Was it a from a direct Verizon Wireless store? Most chargers do come with a 12 month warranty. Liquid or physical damage would be excluded. Keep me posted. Thanks in advance.

I purchased it at TCC, Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer and there is no damage to the cord I don't know why it stopped working.

It is not charging at all. I tried to use it on the spare battery charger LG sent me as well and the charger is not working at all. It is dead. I have a travel charger I am using I bought with the phone and it charges fine there but it is a pain to always charge my phone in the car.Verizon Wireless Customer Support

Same thing happened to mine. I just started using an old charger from my pervious Samsung S3... works just fine! The charger that came with it is bunk. I'm sorry you're having to deal with that, too.

I tried my charger from my old phone which was a Samsung Galaxy 4S and it did not work. Said did not recognize charger. gdunn But thanks for the idea. I just want them to cover it and send me a new one like they should.
