So I just got my old Verizon phone a new SIM card. Put it in last night. I can send and receive texts, but I can't make calls.. it says out of service/no service. Even though i see the 4G lte up top, and have some bars.. and I've tried turning and leaving it off for awhile. So why is it still saying I can't make calls??

May I ask why a new SIM card was needed? Was this device active and working on your account previously? What zip code are you located in?

I had turned my phone off for awhile, and just turned it back on, with a Verizon plan. And yes it worked perfectly. 59718

f you could get back to me soon that would be great, because I work during the day, and I can't go into a Verizon store.. Or could you please direct me to someone who cares to get back to their customers in a timely fashion. Thank you

I appreciate the input, msadie40. I also regret any delay in getting back to you. I’m showing that we provide solid service in zip code 59718 with no known issues occurring at this time. I would like to focus on the SIM. You mentioned that you just got one. Where did you get it? Was it ordered through our toll free number to Customer Care? Did you visit a store? Why was the SIM replaced?
