Just went through all the screens to trade in my old iPhone 5. Instructions say that I have to take out battery and remove sim card, but that is not possible with the iPhone. So what do I do? Thanks for any help!
Hi LancerKranz,
We are so excited to hear that your trading in your iPhone 5 using the VZW recycle program. We want the instruction to be simple and clear. Sorry this is not occurring. Lets get this fixed. The iPhone does not have a removeable battery, in this case you would ship the entire device. Follow the instructions inlcluded with your shipping materials to properly package your iPhone 5 in its entirety. Glad to see that you were able to remove the SIM card. Don't ship the charger, SD card, SIM card or other accessories with your device. No trade-in value will be provided for these items, and they won't be returned. Here is a great FAQ to reference http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/trade-in-program-faqs/ .

OK - I figured out how to remove the sim card, but I'm still not sure what to do about the battery.
YOU DO NOT REMOVE THER BATTERY FROM IPHONES. IT SAYS IN THE DIRECTIONS. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE IT.
