Service at store

I didn't know that verizon stores were such a pain now....my husband tried to be nice when my phone died and went to get me a new one. I really wanted a note 5 but go figure they didn't have one so he brought home a galaxy 6 anyway I wanted to return it to get what I wanted only to find out I have to go back to the same store when theyou manage to get one in to exchange it, I can't just go to any verizon store and to top that off a $50 restocking fee regardless of my not using it

Come to find out they had two stores in town and he could have purchased at the other one to get what was wanted. This really is poor customer service and greatly angers me

Debbow, having to exchange your device does sound frustrating. We want to make sure we provide you with the proper information and set the right expectations.

When you go to an authorized agent (which your husband did) you must return to the original point of purchase to do any exchanges. If the device was purchased at a corporate Verizon Wireless you can do any returns or exchanges at any corporate store.

Authorized agents do have different return policies and exchange fees. Corporate Verizon stores do have a $35 restocking fee.

I'm guessing it isn't a corporate store....we had no idea there was a difference...with it not being explained....I can say I will never go there again

I don't think it's right they up charge the restocking fee at all especially when we've been customers with verizon for so long

Yep, those authorized dealers are giving Verizon a bad name. They should be held to the same standards & pricing as corporate stores.

I didn't know any better either, but now A-V-O-I-D those 3rd party sellers like the plague. I would only make an exception for Best Buy stores if buying an unlocked phone.
