LG tablet is froze with symbols on screen and will not reset

This is the second tablet that I have had this issue with. When powering on the tablet, it goes to a screen with foreign symbols (guessing they are some type of Asian symbols) and the tablet locks. I have tried a hard reboot and have tried taking sim card out and putting it back in. Nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Amandayiya, this is not the experience we want you to have with your tablet. Let’s try to breathe some life back into it. What type of LG tablet do you have exactly? Is this happening every time you attempt to power  on? How long have you owned it?
