Phone freezing up

After recently paying on my prepaid after phone was disconnected, therefore renewing my service. I've noticed when I click on 90% of my apps I get a black screen then sometimes I receive an error saying "home has unexpectedly stopped ". Or phone just freezes. I've tried taking battery out for awhile. Still have trouble. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear your having issues with your device. Let's speed it up. What device do you have? Have you tried freeing up memory? Deleting unwanted apps and old text messages is always a good first step.

I have an Optimus Exceed 2. I've deleted a bunch of text messages. Have plenty of memory available. Phone was working fine before service was disabled for 2 days.
