No network connect after software update WHY????

I got a software update yesterday and every since then if im not on wifi my phone says no network connnection. I cant use any my apps or internet and it is super frustrating!!!! U can send messages which is weird. My bars are full but the 4GLTE is grey by the bars ive tried turning my data off and back on ive tried retarating.my phone with wifi off??? Idk what to do but i pay 120 a month for data and i wanna br able to use it when and where i want!!

found someone who was having the same problem she finally called customer service and they had her changed network settings to allow data roaming and then another network and it fixed it. I am now on LTE/cdma

network and it's great now.

i changed my data roaming and then i changed my network and changed it back and t working im not sure why that worked but it did.

I know how important it is to have a connection and use your phone when ever you want. Let's look into this more. What kind of phone do you have? Are all of your applications updated as well? What happens when you try to use your data/apps?

Lg G3 yes all my apps are updated it says i have no data connection so it cant load

Gallowayj03, I appreciate the prompt response and thanks for the detailed information. We are not giving up until we get this issue resolved. Are you able to connect to WiFi and access the internet? Have you backed up all your data to the Verizon Cloud using WiFi?

When you tried turning on the cellular data connection does it appear to be on in the settings? Have you tried while the wifi radio was turn off?

Yes my data is on and ive tried reatarting my phone removing my sim card for 30secs and replacing it....its been 2 days and i dont have any data unless i have my wifi on which i only have when im home! Im not sure if my phone isnt compatiable with the new software update or what but it was fine before the update 2 days ago and now it wont work
