I have already been added as an account manager, so why am I NOT an account manger when I log into my Verizon?

The account owner should add you then you should get a notification to accept, at least that is how it was when I did it a year or two ago
Did they simply add your NAME or did they also add your LINE associated with the MyVerizon account you log in with?
You can add someone by name only as an account manager who does not necessarily have a line on the account.
They added me as an account manager, I then added a line for someone else. I then sent and log into my Verizon and it said I needed to be an account manger, which I am all ready!

Being listed as such in customer service does not translate to the website. You have to have your own log in info there, so sounds like you need to register under your own credentials.
Like I said, you can add someone by name only as an account manager.
How did you add a line for someone else? Did you do it in a store? Did you do it over the phone? It appears you did not do it online while logged into your MyVerizon account. You can add a line for someone else in a store or over the phone simply by being added as an account manager by name only WITHOUT having your line designated as an account manager.
ALL lines on an account are ONLY associated with the account owner's name. You have to make sure you are designated as an account manager by name(for in-store & over the phone transactions) AND by phone line(for MyVerizon account manager transactions)
For example: I have my own account and am the account owner for the account. I have a line on that account. My wife is listed by name AND cellular number as an account manager.
I am ALSO listed as an account manager on another account yet I DO NOT have a cellular number on that account. I DO NOT have a MyVerizon account on that account. When I log into the MyVerizon account on my account, I DO NOT have access to the other account information. The only way I can make transactions for the other account is if I log in as the Account Owner in THEIR MyVerizon account OR make a transaction over the phone or in a store.

Even though my phone# is listed as the Account Owner, when I go to the Add Account Manager, my line is not listed and I can only add my Name. Can anyone help with this?
I know the difference between being on the account and being an account manager. If I go to my local Verizon store they will let me do ANYTHING I see fit to the account. But when I go to the Verizon website it says I am not an account manager. It will not let me see how much data the individual are using. And most importantly Verizon will not discuss anything about the account with me on the website, like if I wanted to take my number and leave. I own this number and I have a phone number that is very valuable and can not have some other being able to steal this number from me.
Actually you don't own a thing. The number belongs to the carrier.
No I brought it with to this carrier. So as long as the bill is not delinquent it is my number.
Once again, the number belongs to the carrier you are currently on. The actual account owner could decide to port the number you use, not own, to another carrier tomorrow and their wouldn't be a thing you could do about it.

I have verified my number is the Account Owner, however when I go to add an Account Manager, there are only three out of four lines listed as a selection, and my number - the account owner - is no longer listed. I have performed this procedure several times and I am very familiar with it. My number used to be listed there but somehow it has disappeared. I added my Name as an Account Manager so I can at least talk to Verizon about the account, but this is really weird and I would like it to be addressed.
I had searched the Verizon site and the Internet for days looking for an answer before I attempted to post here. I have not contacted Verizon directly or gone to the Verizon store. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I don't understand, are you saying you only have 4 lines on your account and your line(1 of the 4 lines) is listed as the account owner? The account owner does not have to be designated as an account manager. The account owner already has more capabilities than an account manager.
