Why is my phone showing no service

That would be concerning. Try resetting your device with our network. This happens automatically when you turn it off for a minute and power it back on.

Still no service
May be an outage in your area. May be a bad SIM card. Have you tried contacting Verizon to have them troubleshoot the issue? Apple?
Have you tried reseting the network settings on your device? Go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings. Let us know if the issue persists.
