This is ridiculous. I have been lied to.
My family and I myself have been with Verizon for a very long while. We have moved locations and although the service area says we get 4G lte we do not get it. It made us wsnt to switch even though we know literally no service is better than you guys.
It is our only option since no Internet(not doing expensive slow hughesnet) is available at this time(century link maybe eventually in a year) and we are told our area gets 4g expecting we can get on the net.
We are not even able to make calls hardly or text as well.
We called technical support about the issue. The guy on the phone was very helpful but to our surprise lied.
He had said we have 3 lte towers and some other towers in the area total of about 6. He also said you guys have an iPhone 6 plus an edge 6 plus so we should be getting service...
We explained how we get service eon one of our three phones in the area but only a mere 3g. Slow but can pick it up in or outside of the house. Ita a Droid from 2013. The two new smart phones can not pick up even voice.
He said that we can get a thing called a signal booster from any verizon store to help amplify the signal and it would be free.
No not an extender since we do not have Internet to use that with.
He told us to go into the store nearest us and pick one up. To our surprise this was not true.
The agents at our nearest store told us about the extender which requires wifi. We explained we do not have wifi and said no options available then.
They continue used to tell us at the store sorry he told you that.
We are paying top dollar for your service verizon to be lied to. We bought brand new phones from you.
We were thinking of switching but the guy assured us this free device would do the trick. Now we're stuck with paying 305 a month for 18gb shared with no service not even text or voice... All thanks to being lied to!
What do you suggest I do to get better service? And I hope the call I made a few weeks ago gets routed somehow and you can see the tech who lied to keep us with you!
