Does Verizon offer Free or Discounted home internet service for Veterans

My brother in law is in needs of internet service in the 62868 zipcode. He lives in the middle of the country so I was looking at Verizon wireless home service.

Does verizon offer free or discounted service? He is a 67 year old Vietnam veteran.

Does your brother-in-law have Verizon Wireless cellular service with a smart phone? If so, many of the plans include mobile hotspot service, which deducts from the plan’s data allowance at no additional cost.

He does not have access to DSL thru Verizon. Not available in his area. He has a Verizon phone but I pay for it thru my account. It is a standard phone, not a smart phone.
