The My Verizon Mobile app no longer works on my Samsung phone. I get Alert message that "The connection to the server was unsuccessful". No changes on my end that I know of. Any ideas?
This is a great app for your phone Sharky2. It makes managing your account a breeze. Let’s get this working again for you. Have you checked to ensure all your apps and software are up to date with your phone? Are other data services like email and web browser working? Do you get this error when connected to both wifi and cellular data?

In order to provide you with the best troubleshooting, I just want to dig a little bit deeper. How long have you been receiving that alert message? Is your phone connected to Wifi or the Data network? as long as you have access to the internet, and the apps is up to date. Go to your Applications> Application Manager > you will see Downloaded at the top of your phone, swipe over to running then to ALL, scroll down and look for MYVerizon app. tap it, then tap clear data. this will reset the app to factory, without hurting any of the information on your phone. this will usually fix about 90% of most app issues. Also be sure to go to storage and clear your cached data as this can also cause issues as well.
