When I send pdf files to samsung phone, I get the text but also "[Attachment(s) removed].
What are the steps to send and receive Adobe pdf files using the Verizon network to Verizon phones?
I Send with Google drive, which can be opened on all other devices and platforms.
Gongy-
Being able to send PDF files is super important, and I am here to help. I just want to dig a little bit deeper to be sure that we are able to get you back up and running. What type of device are you using? When was the last time you were able to successfully send a PDF file to another Verizon phone? Hey AmberK_VZW,
First off, thank you! I really didn't expect help from Verizon on the issue.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S3.I do not know whn successfully sending a PDF from or to my Verizon phone, starting failing.
I have attempted to send from gmail and yahoo mail; both fail.
Let me know if there is any other information you need.
Thank you again,John
Gongy, we’re always here to help you! These days a majority of our emails have attachments of some kind, so I certainly understand the concern.
Do you have any document storage applications downloaded to your device? (Adobe, Download drive etc.) Have you tried deleting the email from your phone and adding it back? Can you send/receive picture messages fine?

Apologize for the slow response, but Yahoo mail put your response in the Spam bucket.
To answer your questions:No, I have not installed any document storage applications. I may have stumbled upon the answer myself, and need you to confirm please. It appears that Verizon no longer allows anthing but text messages to be sent to Verizon phones.
I have also been told by Verizon store employees that the:
nnnnnnnnnn@vtext.com
is for emailing a Verizon phone only ASCII text, no images, no emoticons, no attachments. Which I confirmed at the Verizon site here:
Vtext.com FAQs | Verizon Wireless
To be able to email data other than ascii text, you need the MMS Verizon domain. Unfortunately I do not know what that domain is. I did find this Verizon site that indicated to send Multimedia and attachments you need Verizon Messaging, however it does not go into any detail on how to use or enable:
