My Samsung Galaxy 6 edge plus will pair with my new Honda cr-v. It will make calls use address and phone book abd read emails. It refuses to display text messages. My s5 worked just fine. Any suggestions?

Has the text ever been able to display? Everything pairs with the phone except for text messaging. It will even inform me of an incoming email and then offer to read it for me. Phone abd contacts work, even shows call history. When I start the car the phone chimes to tell me that driving mode has been turned on. Turning that off doesn't seem to change anything. I has even tried connecting via USB but I get message that car is not compatible. Love the new cr-version touring so hope to get this problem resolved.

Seems like you are doing everything right and its just that function not working as desired. Have you checked with the with the car's dealer to ensure the software is up to date on the vehicle?
