Brand New LG V10 help pls

So my lg v10 is less than a month old and well protected in a case. No slips falls or dings. Recently it just started flashing while I am using it. The screen goes a little dark and flashes two or three tines almost like its a notification feature but I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Proflashrtist, help has arrived this would be baffling me as well. When you started noticing this did anything change on the phone? Did you download any new updates or installed any new applications on the phone?

I have no third party apps that would require you check the "install from unknown sources" option. Most if my few apps are small games or bank stuff.

Proflashrtist suggestions would be:

Try booting the device in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. Restart the Device in Safe Mode - LG V10 | Verizon Wireless. If the issue doesn't continue its good to maybe do a factory reset and start fresh with downloading apps. If you get to an app that causes the issue then you know that app is the culprit. I've seen basic apps cause all types of issues on my friend's devices.
Remove the case from the phone and see if the issue persists. Reason being is sometimes a case covers the sensor on the front of the device causing challenges like this. Its a long shot on this one but worth a try.
