hi, i had a question about purchasing a phone.. am I able to go to walmart and purchase a verizon phone there ( as long as it says verizon on the back) and activate it on my existing verizon account?
This is great information that kaebfly has provided, debradee1. With 4G prepay devices, they must be active on one of our Prepay plans and make at least one monthly service payment before you are eligible to move the deivce to a postpay account. For 3G devices, this requires 6 months of active prepay service.

If it's a prepay phone and you have a postpaid account then no. The phone would have to be activated on prepay for a certain amount of time.
