Recent Coverage Strength Drop (60045)

Within the last few weeks I have seen a severe degradation in my signal strength while at work. Where I was previously getting a weak LTE signal I am now either getting no signal or 1 bar of 1X. All things have remained constant in the building (i.e. - no physical location change, phone is the same). Coworkers with Verizon, on a wide array of phones, have commented on experiencing the same issue during this same time period. I have seen no changes in my home area (30 miles from work) coverage during this period. How do I report this issue to open a network trouble ticket?

Having the best signal available wherever you need your phone most is important. Let's figure out what's going on and what options are available to help. Is the lowered signal trouble present only indoors at that location? When do you notice service improvement (i.e. how far away from the location)?

Signal issue is primarily indoors but notice lower signal while in the parking lot of the building as well. In the parking lot, where I previously had full LTE strength the signal will now bounce between a strong 3G to weak LTE signal.

I can't answer the improved service proximity to the location as I'm personally driving and not looking at signal strength to see when it improves to a full LTE signal.

Make sure the phone is set to LTE/CDMA (NOT Global) under network settings. I have seen it make a huge difference in certain areas.

Thanks for the tip but it provided no change in signal strength using LTE/CDMA vs. Global network setting. I power cycled after making the changed then checked signal strength. Both settings had signal strength range of -108 to -116 and 16asu.

Have you made any updates with your phone since you noticed this started? For example, new software, apps, accessories, etc?

Primarily data is affected. Calls and text will sneak through when I'm getting at least a bar of 1X strength. I have not made any changes to settings, software, or apps since this started. As I mentioned previously, I am not the only person being impacted by this. Other coworkers in my area utilizing Verizon across an array of phones on iOS/Android have experienced the same degradation in coverage strength.
