Why does the cloud backup items not set in the settings to be backed up?

I have the setting on the Verizon Cloud on my phone set to NOT backup music and photos, yet it backs them up anyway and causes my Cloud to be full.  How do I prevent this?  I'd like to just backup Contacts, Documents, Messages, and Call history, and have set my setting accordingly.  Also, if I go into the cloud from my PC and delete the photos from the cloud, will they be removed from my phone?

namteerts, Let's get this Verizon Cloud behaving like you want it to. If you delete pictures on your computer's Verizon Cloud app, yes it will delete it on your phone. If the desktop version is creating challenges, I would recommend uninstalling it from the computer to sever the link. The cloud can be managed by going to MyVerizon and signing in. http://spr.ly/6580B5Oxq
