Will I lose my Unlimited Data plan contract?

My current plan is a grandfathered Unlimited Data plan and my 2 year contract is up May 2016. My question is- what happens after my contract is up if I do not upgrade to a new contract? I really don't want to lose my unlimited data plan and know that if I upgrade my plan goes away. Thanks.

You will become a month to month customer. You can upgrade at full retail (either pay up front or you can do the device payment plan) and you won't lose your unlimited data.

I attempted to upgrade online and do the device payment plan, however, when it comes to the data portion of ordering it informs me I'll lose the UDP and need to select a new tier. Would it be better for me to upgrade at the store instead? Thanks so much.

For something like this, I personally would feel more comfortable buying in a corporate store then online because I have seen the website display questionable info on the ability to keep the unlimited data plan.
