What are the response times for roadside assistance?

We used it for the first time and it took over 2 HOURS for them to come change a flat tire. We were not in a remote area at all. Also, we tried to use the app and it never went through, said to call in so we had to repeat everything over again. A very frustrating experience.....

depending on situation and location can be up to 4hrs..."roadside assistance" is not or cant be use as service like pizza delivery and can or should be expected to be deliver the service or product in 45 minutes or less:)

TTwo hours depending on their caseload is quite average. Changing a tire yourself however takes well under a half hour.

After being broken down in downtown Atlanta once, having called RSA and waiting 6 hours overnight into the next morning, I never used RSA again. Issue was a fuel pump, but unless entirely impossible to repair the issue yourself, I'd not call RSA. A flat tire, that I'd fix myself unless it was a shredded tire, or sidewall puncture, or I had no spare. Then again, I think that RSA terms mention something about replacing your tire with your spare, as in they don't bring you a spare.

RSA is good for fixing flats I guess, if you have the time and can't do so yourself, given ability or environmental situation. Getting a little extra gas is a good thing, there again, you have nothing but time since you can't actually go anywhere. Towing I might leave up to my auto insurance, since they might act faster, and not charge you a fee to tow, and instead have the service billed directly to them instead of you waiting for reimbursement.
