My wife and I were misled by a sales rep based on a system error in Verizon's system.. We were told several times and I was shown on a sales reps computer a employee discount percentage of 18%.. However after confirmation of the paystub the percentage dropped to 6%.. The 18% was a huge factor in signing up for Verizon Wireless, however the 14 day grace period is long gone and now we are stuck.. I received an email stating that the sales rep was viewing an error in the Verizon system and that my wife needs to instruct her employer to take steps to raise the percentage..
I guess you could look at this as a "bait and switch" move but the least Verizon could do is make this right in some form.. Problem is nobody wants to deal with this issue and I'm tired of calling customer care only to be disappointed once more by people who dont know how to handle this issue..
So I believe going to the an upper management person might help to clear this issue up..
