How do I move apps, music or photos to the SD card?

You can't move apps, but you can move music, videos, photos, and documents to the SD card either by using a file manager app from the Play Store or by connecting the tablet to your computer and 'dragging and dropping' the files.

I have tried several file manager apps and either there are no instructions or I get a message, "unauthorized".
