Does Verizon Want This Type of Authorized Seller – And Will They Help Address This Issue
My daughter purchased a phone from Ryan at the Calendonia, Michigan. It is my belief that through omission and deceit he misrepresented the terms sale. Examples, but not an all-inclusive list:
1) Represented himself as a Verizon Employee
2) Failed to communicate that payment in full forfeited the right to return the phone in 14 days.
3) Failure to inform my daughter that she is eligible for a 25% discount on accessories if purchased at a corporate store
4) Promised a "goggle" device if purchased today but did not include in paperwork.
5) Sold a third-party screen protected that does not fit the screen correctly and installed before getting approval of my daughter.
When I called Ryan to express these concerns and ask that the sale be voided he was smug and rude.
It should not be a business practice to have a slick sales person take advantage of a 19 year kid.
