Battery drain/hot device LG G4

I have experienced battery drain ever since I used Maps for driving directions three days ago. Once I reached my destination, I turned off location. Yesterday, my device was on the counter for three hours. I only checked it a couple of times, but I did not open any apps. The battery drained from 85% to 15% during that time. I have checked app usage and nothing is requiring that much usage of the battery. As the battery drains, my phone is very hot. Please help.

I have the same problem and now it will not work at all. Verizon store told me they would send me another one just like it. NO THANKS - that was 2016 - I'm still paying for the LG G4 piece of [Removed] !!!!! I will change to another company when I get this paid off and I've been with Verizon for almost 20 years now.  NO MORE!!!!!!!!!
