my phone just shut off and I cannot turn it on, I tried charging it and still wont turn on

my note 5 died for no reason at all. It worked the night before when i put it on the charger. brought it to a verizon store. They couldn't figure it out. Had to order me a replacement. Thing is, I spend $340 a month on my bill. They are sending me a used piece of [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] phone. wasn't my fault the phone isn't working. Why do I get a used phone that obviously someone sent back cause it worked like [removed] . hadn't needed a replacement for a phone in 12 years. and 12 years ago when i did get a replacement i had to send it back 3 times cause it worked like [removed]. here i go again.
My phone flashes on and off Verizon but I cannot make calls, I go to my contacts but it doesn't go through
