I want to create a group that I can text to periodically.

I also am wondering about this.....I did create a group, as there is an option to do so. However, when you try to type the name of the group on the website app where you type any contact name, it does not recognize the name of the group.
Essentially, we can create a group, but not use it? What is the point of that?
i do it in gmail, it's on my primary phone, several laptops i travel with & several old phones on wi-fi.
this works for texting'picmessage & email.
