Why is my phone heating up? I notice this everyday.

A device may become warm when you are charging it, you are using it for extended period of time, or when you are connected to Wi-Fi. How hot is it getting?
110 to 115. Like a high fever
120 is like the top limit. Which phone model do you have? How often is it doing the high temps? How long? What functions are you performing that might be causing it? Is it while the phone is charging or provide directions or something else?
