I forgot my draw pattern (HTC One M8)

So my [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] forgot my draw pattern and I have one attempt left before date is deleted as it says.  I've read that after the last attempt it will ask you if you forgot your draw pattern and enter your gmaill account.  My question is will this happen in my case? or WILL it actually delete all of my data after the last attempt and IF it DOES delete my data ie back to factory settings can I restore all of my data back form Sync Manager?

It depends on the last time you've backed-up your information to either Verizon cloud or the other cloud services out there.  If it's been a while, you will lose everything since your last backup.  If you don't known your Gmail account and have to reset it, you may be locked out of your device for 24 hours, so it's important to make sure you know it.
