How do I add custom ringtone to an LG Lancet?

I sent a message to my husbands phone with the custom ring tone.  How can I save it so he can use it?

Download the file and use a file explorer app from the Play Store to move the file from the Download folder to the Ringtones folder in the phone's internal memory.
