I want to know more about Verizon internet service and pricing?

I'm currently paying $99.99 for

Up to 300 Mbps download Up to 30 Mbps upload, 150 GB of Cloud Drive storage, Free access to over 400,000 WiFi hotspots Since I've been a loyal customer for quite sometime now. was wondering if I could get a better deal?

Sounds like the OP is using a Cable provider. Likely Comcast. Verizon's Internet plans for 300Mbps down would come in the form of Verizon FiOS. Verizon DSL and Verizon LTE are nowhere near the 300Mbps league.

If the OP wants FiOS, here's the page showing the promotional standalone Internet pricing. The bundles can be found by going to the "Shop" menu at the top of the page.

*Normally* FiOS is quite competitive, but it is not for those looking for barebones Internet performance (aka inexpensive Internet). It competes well with Cable companies' Standard issue packages in price to performance, but the moment you enter $15/m territory, you're better off with Cable. Note that FiOS/DSL doesn't give you access to a ton of hotspots like the Cable companies do. Most of the hotspots for Verizon are found at Airports or at Hotels using paid-for systems. The cable companies have Hotspots often at these locations, and other commonly trafficked locations like bars, stores, and so fourth. This is a benefit they offer to help offload mobile data traffic to Wi-Fi, but if you don't use these, then pick your poison :smileyhappy:

Skip Verizon DSL, though. You're better with Comcast/whoever.
