My Ellipsis kids won't charge.

We recently got an Ellipsis kids tablet and now it won't charge. I have tried everything they said to do on Verizon help but it still won't charge. I tried using different cords and plug ins but nothing helps. I tried plugging it into a computer and nothing. The dead battery symbol is the only thing that comes up and then goes away after a few seconds.

Ok, I've been able to help a few people w/ this challenge as my son has the tablet. I know you said you plugged it into a computer but can you confirm the following:

Did you plug it into a computer w/ the supplied USB cable for 30-45 mins? If so once you do so (this will trickle charge it) when unplug the cable from your computer and plug it into the supplied wall plug. It should being charging. They posted this as well which should help.

If this still doesn't work or you have tried this with the supplied cable / wall plug you may need to have it swapped out. I'm told the majority of the time the above works.

Yes and it won't charge at all. I did use another charger but it took around 12 hours and it did not last long.

Thank you for this clarification. How long does the device tend to last after it has reached a full charge? Also, is the charger that does work classified as a standard charger or a fast charge charger?
