does using the pandora app use data?
Yes. The music is not stored on your phone when you are using streaming services such as Pandora. The app uses the Internet to stream (i.e. use data) to get the music to your phone. You must either use wifi or if you are not on wifi, it will use your Verizon plan data to get the music to the phone.
