It's not HD. Its visual.
And it's only visual in the sense you can see the number that called you instead of hearing it. So no, I don't suppose any of us 'Need' it. It is nice, easier to navigate, also to listen to messages. Its free, so it cant hurt. You can ALWAYS dial *86
