My phone is old. How do I get it off the insurance protection plan?
Call customer service (800-922-0204) and ask them to cancel the insurance for that phone/line. It should be done as of that day, so you will pay a pro-rated amount for the current month up till the day you cancelled.
Dropping insurance also drops your extended warranty. That means, if ANYTHING happens to your phone you must get a replacement either on your own or by using any upgrade options available to you through Verizon.
