There have been some very reputable sources citing malware in the Android operating system. Malware found pre-installed on some Android devices
Finding it is a feat not left to the faint of heart or geekless. So what do you have to offer about this issue? Anyone? Bueler? Beuler? Surely someone has a handle on this.
I wouldn't worry about it, most of that stuff is just FUD, this is the first I'm hearing of it.
38 devices found to be infected, 20 different models, so average 2 devices per model, out of millions sold. Traced back to 2 "unnamed major technology companies" .... company owned devices perhaps?
The odds that my personal device, purchased from Verizon directly, is infected is so miniscule I'm not concerned....
If you're that scared of the malware on your smartphone, start using a basic phone i stead.
i use malwarebytes on pc, s5 & note5.
