That's truly a bummer and we're glad to help. Because the screen lock is used to prevent unauthorized access there isn't many ways around it. If you utilized the Android Device Manager feature in the past, you may be able to use it to unlock your device. You can sign in with your Gmail to check if it is enabled on your phone https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=androidconsole&passive=3600&continue=https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager&followup=https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager#identifier.
