I work for the federal government and we work with America's heroes. Why is that all we get is 12% off our bill, but HCA and state workers get 20% off. I say this is a slap in the face because we work in a healthcare setting as well and most state workers work on roadways and such. I think that this needs to be looked in to. Please explain to me why we only get 12% and don't tell me it is because I work for the government. I have been with Verizon for MANY years, but I am getting ready to take my service elsewhere.

As your fellow community member mentioned the discount percentage will vary depending on the agreement between VZW and your employer. You need to reach out to your employer for details of the agreement they have with VZW. They can address your concerns regarding your employee discount percentage.

Each company or government entity has a separate agreement with Verizon Wireless for their business and discounts for the employees of that entity. The number of employees, number of lines purchased by the entity and other factors contribute to what the discount ends up being available for the employees of the entity.
