Was never pushed 6.0.1. Still running 5.0 on my S5. If I try to manually check for updates, I'm told I'm up to date. Same if I try the installer thru my PC.
thru wi-fi or the network??
Not clear what you are asking. Verizon has never pushed me the update via their mobile network (perhaps still rolling out to certain regions?). If I attempt to check for updates the response is I have the latest (5.0) thru mobile network or using home wifi I get response that I have the latest OS. If I use my PC to check via home network (and then their installer would be used to install the upgraded Marshmallow OS) I am told I have the latest.
The "latest" according to Verizon's website is 6.0.1... My phone has Lollipop 5.0 and I'm being told I have the latest. Hence my question. Either they haven't rolled 6.0.1 to everyone yet, OR I have an issue with my phone/acct that's preventing me from being able to get it.
i'm trying to get it on a non activated s5/5.0 thru wi-fi & why i asked.
i get a message saying the update is temporarily unavailable, check back later...so maybe i'll get it..
probably just hasn't gotten to your area.
It was released May 31, which is three weeks now. How long do you have to wait to propagate to all of the areas?
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem (can't update from Lollipop to Marshmallow). Given the complaints in the forum, I'm starting to think the update was pulled back.
