No signal in my house

Is Hurricane Matthew playing havoc with my Samsung Note 7 (the new one) ?? I have no signal at home and it has worked up until today. Also, my daughter is on Verizon with an Iphone 7 and she also has been dropping calls. I can text....but not call or receive calls.

you mentioned matthew.

if you live in area area with 2+ million folks without electricity, verizon & your internet provider may be without electricity & where you are in relation to antennas(some may be down) plays a part in no signal.

no internet provider, no wi-fi.

btw, it wouldn't matter what phone you have.
