Does facetime use minutes on my plan?

I am out of minutes..can I use facetime?

When using FaceTime, this does not use minutes on your plan. FaceTime is a data feature. If you are connected to wifi, you will not be using any of your plan data. I hope you enjoy this great feature on your phone! Thank you for choosing Verizon Wireless.
