When will the Sony Z2 tablet get the Marshmallow update?

Is there any word on when/if we will see the Marshmallow (android 6) update for this device ?   It's been a great tablet light-weight, responsive, water resistant and great battery life - I hate to abandon it - so I ask...  will it get Marshmallow from Verizon ?
