The Note 2 was last updated in May 2014 so it's not going to be updated any more.

Try a different browser application.
Once Samsung stops sending updates, it is only a matter of time before the stock browser becomes obsolete.
Ann's suggestion is the best way to go. Chrome would be my first alternative choice.
