LG G3 touch screen not working

My LG G3 touch screen doesn't respond at all after charging overnight one day. I have used the Software Upgrade Assistant to repair/factory reset the phone, but the screen still doesn't work. This is after the lastest Marshmallow update VS9854AA, so I suspect it is a software issue, but a hardware failure. Anyone has experience with this and solutions? Thanks.

My phone is my right arm so I understand how frustrating it can be when your phone is not working. We're on the scene and eager to get to the bottom of this in no time. How long has your phone's touch screen not been working? To confirm, after you downloaded the software update your touch screen immediately stopped working?

Hi,

The touchscreen still worked for a few days after the software update, and it seemed to fix previous Wifi connection issue. But maybe 2 or 3 days later, when I tried to use the phone after wakeup in the morning, the touchscreen simply would respond to the touch. I had to use the PC SUA tool to do the factory reset and repair, but once turned on, I couldn't pass the initial setup screen because the touch screen is not responding at all.

Could this be a hardware issue coincidentally? Thanks.
